With the 2017 vintage, the Domaine de l'Amauve innovates :

It is not a question of one, but of two cuvées which will be called "Le Rose d'Yvonne".
Indeed, with the 2017 vintage, I wanted to make a rosé wine, something who has not been possible until then.

The original idea was to elaborate a cuvee of rose wine in the style of my white wine, but in IGP VAUCLUSE instead of AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages SEGURET. This wine would be especially made for some of my loyal customers.

The demand for my white wine "La Daurèle" is still strong and I am often out of stock. Also, in order to satisfy all my customers with another wine made in the same way, I made the decision to also make a rose wine from the AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages SEGURET.

Yvonne was my maternal grandmother. She liked the rose wine made by my grandfather (Adrien). It was therefore normal that her's name appears on these cuvées.

"Le Rosé d'yvonne", whether it is in IGP VAUCLUSE or in AOC Cêtes du Rhône Villages SEGURET, is a wine with a pale hue and that expresses freshness and fruit. Just like my white wine, it is pleasant from its youth, and its balance will allow it to be kept several years.

These two cuvees will be bottled at the end of February 2018. They will be available for sale from the beginning of March 2018.

The corking of the bottle will be done with a screw cap to preserve as much of possible the fruity expression of the wine.
