With the 2018 vintage, Domaine de l'Amauve innovates once again:

In 2017, I have made a first cuvee of rosé wine in Vaucluse I.G.P. as well as a small cuvee of rosé wine in AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages Séguret. These two cuvees have got the same name: "Le Rosé d'Yvonne".

In 2018, the AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages Séguret cuvée has found a name: "Le Rosé de Simone". And, following the success of the previous vintage, I have made more bottles of it.

Why Simone? Because it is the middle name of my wife who loves rosé wine.

The initial idea was to make a rosé wine cuvée in the style of my white wine.

"Le Rosé de Simone", is a pale rosé wine that expresses freshness and fruit. Just like my white wine and my other rosé (Vaucluse I.G.P.). It is pleasant from its youth, and its balance will allow it to be kept for several years.

The "Rosé de Simone" has been bottled in mid-February 2019. It is available for sale since the beginning of March 2019.

The bottle is corked with a screw cap in order to preserve the fruity expression of this wine and to make easier its opening.
